Looking at the results, it’s pretty clear that a lot of people really didn’t want Tim Chu to win.
Aaron Palm had 1149 4rd place rankings and only 284 4th, while Chu had 201 third and 1109 fourth.
What this tells me (since the other two candidates stay relatively constant through 3 and 4) is that a lot of people put Palm third and Chu fourth.
Interesting, condorcet voter intention analysis is really neat.
