Candidates are not allowed to run for more than one executive position, so it remains to be seen whether Dirk will opt to stand in either the VPX or President race.  This restriction only applies to positions within SUS, so both hack-of-all-trades Justin Yang (and perhaps joke candidate(s) Charlie Sheen) will be permitted to run for both AUS and SUS positions. Update 03/14/11:  Justin Yang has pulled out of the SUS presidential race and will be running for AUS president only.  Justin Dirk has also pulled out of the SUS presidential race and maintains his candidacy for SUS VP External.

One campaign event has also be announced: a free Pancake Breakfast outside Ladha on March 17th (St. Patrick’s Day!) at 9:00 to 10:30 AM. Update 03/14/11: A debate (between whom? We’re not sure) will occur on Tuesday, March 22nd from 12:30 to 1:30 PM.  This debate will also be filmed.

  1. Heyo Laura! It’s Joaquin (like Phoenix) Acevedo, not Joqaquin Avecedo for Director of Finance. :)
