I think much of what was said at the town hall represented what people hoped UBC would become. I agree that the town hall will ultimately have little influence on the search. However, that is because there are many other ways to get feedback from the "UBC community" and the search committee members themselves are ultimately tasked with the decision. However, I do think it was an important opportunity for members of the UBC community to speak directly to the search committee. Good point Neal.
