I agree that the town hall will ultimately have little influence on the search. However, that is because there are many other ways to get feedback from the &quot;UBC community&quot; and the search committee members themselves are ultimately tasked with the decision.  However, I do think it was an important opportunity for members of the UBC community to speak directly to the search committee.</description>
