Eddie, I’ve done a bit of writing this year and I’ve learned that it takes a lot of work tracking down background information in order to produce really good pieces about issues on campus. Would you prefer it if there was only one post per month? It’s hard to know where to put the balance between quantity and quality.

I think that only people who judge anyone on their failures alone fail to consider the big picture, and miss out incredibly on life when they spend it judging others on trivial matters. I think it’s a bit petty to overlook the great things that people have done with their time and to instead focus on things that they might have not done the best job of because they were focused on doing more important things.

…of course, it is probably better to do fewer things better than to do many things poorly…like this blog. in any case, i wonder if maayan and tim were any less busy.

after all, are we not judged more on our failures than on our successes?

maybe now we’ll actually get some real commentary instead of shoot-from-the-hip punditry and copy-paste announcements.
